This is the dining room of our house. It would only have been used on special occasions in the first decades of the house's existence - Sundays and Bank Holidays. This was the fourth room to be finished. There wasn't too much to be done in this room, but we were racing to get it finished in time for the arrival of the piano.

It all got too much for me on this particular day, and I fell asleep in the only piece of furniture we had in the entire house - the wheelbarrow. Quite comfy, actually!
	When we laid the new floors downstairs, everything in the whole house ended up in the dining room as it was the only floor that didn't get dug up and concreted!
